Design Guidelines

1. Minimum hole size:

The minimum hole size is very much dependent of the material properties and the thickness. However, below is the guideline of the hole size with respect to the material thickness.

Thickness	Minimum hole diameter
0.05-0.10mm	1.2x material thickness
0.15-0.20mm	1.1x material thickness
0.20mm or above	1.0x material thickness

2. General tolerance:

Thickness	Tolerance
0.05-0.10mm	+/- 0.01----0.02
0.10-0.20mm	+/- 0.03----0.04
0.25mm or above	=/- 0.05

The tolerance is also very much dependent of the design and the properties of the material.

3. Minimum line width

Thickness	Minimum line width
0.2mm >	=material thickness
0.2mm <	1.1 x material thickness

Line width smaller than the thickness can be achieved and is dependent of the material etched.

4. Etch profile

Etch profile is maintained at around 10-20% of the material thickness.
